Step 12: Create test builds & go live

Vijay Sharma Vijay Sharma

You're ready to test your app before setting it live!

You should now be finished wireframing your app, adding content, and by using our preview tools, you should be confident that it looks and feels how you want it to. You are almost ready to submit the app to go live. However, prior to doing that, the final step is creating real builds of the app and testing them to ensure the functionality, look, and feel are all correct.

For this step, you will need to have all your Developer Accounts set up, with the proper permissions in place as well. If you haven't done that yet, please go back to Step 6 and follow the instructions.

If your Developer accounts are set up and you think you're ready to test, email submissions@mazsystems.com and let us know that you are ready to test your apps. Please be mindful that it can take up to two weeks to receive the app builds, as this is part of the process where we develop your actual apps.

Once you have emailed us and are ready to go, you will want to follow these instructions for each platform to add testers to your account and get the account ready to test. Click each link for instructions on the various platforms:

  1. Test an app on Amazon
  2. Test an app on Android
  3. Test an app on iOS
  4. Test an app on Roku

Once you have completed testing, you should be ready to submit your app for approval. This process can take a week or two, as each app has to be reviewed and approved by each individual platform operator (Apple, Google, Amazon, etc.)

You can read more about what goes into submitting your apps to go live here:

  1. Submitting to Apple
  2. Submitting to Android
  3. Submitting to Amazon

Now sit back, relax, and wait for the notification that your app is live!
