Publish video content to more platforms. 

Vimeo

Publish your MRSS feeds to Vimeo, one of the largest video platforms for hosting, sharing, and streaming.

  • Connect Vimeo and MAZ
  • Create or select a feed
  • Publish!

Connect Vimeo and MAZ

Navigate to Content > Channels and scroll to Vimeo; flip the switch on. Then select Setup. From here, select Connect Vimeo. You will be led to externally log in and grant MAZ access, then automatically back to MAZ.

 

Now, Vimeo and MAZ are connected.

 

Select or create a feed 

From Content > Channels > Vimeo, select Feeds. Select +Feed, and then select a feed from the Input Library. You can create a custom feed just for Vimeo by using Feed Builder.

 

YouTube

Publish your videos to YouTube, the largest video platform for hosting, sharing, and streaming.

  • Connect YouTube and MAZ
  • Create or select a feed
  • Publish!

Connect Youtube and MAZ

Navigate to Content > Channels and scroll to YouTube; flip the switch on. Then select Setup. From here, select Connect YouTube. You will be led to externally log in and grant MAZ access, then automatically back to MAZ.

 

YouTube and MAZ are connected.

 

Select or create a feed 

From Content > Channels > YouTube, select Feeds. Select +Feed, and then select a feed from the Input Library. You can create a custom feed just for Youtube by using Feed Builder.

 

Note: Since Youtube doesn't support posting m3u8 videos, posting such videos from the MAZ dashboard to YouTube also doesn't work. Since Vimeo and JWPlayer also give us m3u8 videos, those feeds cannot be added to the YouTube channel.

 

Roku Direct Publisher

Publish your MRSS feeds to Roku Direct Publisher, Roku's very own video aggregation platform. You can publish your videos directly into the environment and get instant visibility. Learn more about Roku Direct.

 

Note this is different from launching your own OTT app with Roku and you will only be able to have one active at a time, enabling Roku Direct Publisher will disable Roku Channel.

 

  • Create an account with Roku Direct Publisher
  • Connect Roku Direct Publisher and MAZ
  • Add metadata and assets for Roku Direct Publisher
  • Create or select a feed
  • Publish!

Create an account with Roku Direct Publisher

  1. Create a Roku customer account

  2. Enroll in the Roku Developer Program

  3. Enroll in the Roku Partner Payouts Program (Required for ad monetization.)

Connect Roku Direct Publisher and MAZ

Navigate to Outputs and scroll to Roku Direct Publisher; flip the switch on. Then select Setup. Enter your Roku Direct Publisher credentials.

 

Add metadata and assets for Roku Direct Publisher

Enter and select the metadata for viewers to find your content:

  • App Store Name
  • Category
  • Description

Then, add marketing assets:

  • Roku App Icon (1) for HD, (1) for SD
  • Launch Screen
  • Poster
  • Screenshots (up to 5)

Select or create a feed 

From Content > Channels > Roku Direct Publisher, select Feeds. Select +Feed, and then select a feed from the Input Library. You can create a custom feed just for Roku Direct Publisher by using Feed Builder.

 

Once you've completed these steps for Roku Direct Publisher
