Is there a way the App End Users can write a support ticket? 

All you need to do is open the mobile app, tap on the settings cog wheel and select ""App Help"" or ""Subscription Help"" to get any assistance related to the app. Our End User Support team will be happy to assist you. 


Please Note: All the end user support tickets from within the app goes to MAZ end user support team. 

Being the app publisher can I redirect all the end user support tickets to our in house support team or a particular email address? 

Absolutely! MAZ can allow you to redirect all end user support tickets to your support email directly. Please reach out to pro@mazsystems.com for more details.


Navigating a MAZ Magazine App

How do I navigate through the issue?

Once you tap into a magazine, you can scroll through all of its articles. To read an article just tap on it to open it up. From the article level, you can swipe left or right to move forward or backward through the magazine. Or, you can tap the the top left back arrow to return to the article selector. 

The latest issue of the publication isn't showing up in my app. Where is it?

First, please be sure that your iPhone/iPad has a strong and stable internet connection so that it can receive the latest content. If the issues still aren't showing up, then it's likely that the publishers have not made the content available for download yet. Please check back in the app in a day or two, as it will likely be made available by then.


When I tap on a magazine cover, all I am seeing is a bunch of articles. Why does the magazine look like this?

This is a modern version of the magazine app designed specifically for mobile and tablet. We wanted to make it easy for you to read articles whenever and wherever you want.

Where is the table of contents?

We have replaced the table of contents with a simpler navigation menu. Once you tap into a magazine, all of the articles are just one click away. Scroll down through the issue and tap on an article. 

Manage app subscriptions

I have purchased a subscription in the app, but the latest issue has a price on it. What should I do?

Please try to restore your purchases by opening the app and tapping on the cog-wheel icon in the top right corner, then select Restore Purchases. You may be prompted to log in with your Apple ID - please make sure it is the same one you used to make your purchase.


Content that I've purchased isn't available in the app. What should I do if ‘Restore Purchases’ doesn't work?

First, please try restarting the app by doing the following:

  1. Swipe up half way and pause to reveal the multitasking view. Then swipe the app up and off the top.
  2. Make sure you have a strong, stable wi-fi connection, and that you are logged into the Apple ID you used to make the purchase.
  3. Launch the app again and try restoring your purchases.

If this doesn't do the trick, you may have a faulty download of the app. To refresh, do the following: 

  1. Find the app on your home screen and long-press the app icon until it starts to shake.
  2. Tap the '-' on the the app icon to remove the app from your iPhone.
  3. Install the app anew from the App Store.
  4. Reopen the app and try unlocking your purchases.

How do I cancel my in-app subscription?

Turning off your in-app subscription is something end users have to do manually through the App Store. Please do the following:

1. From your iPhone's home screen, tap ""Settings"".2. Tap on your ""Name""3. Tap ""Subscriptions"" 4. Tap the app subscription that you want to manage.5. Tap on ""Cancel Subscription"".

If you don’t see Cancel, the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.

The app appears to have frozen while downloading/unlocking my purchases. What should I do?

First, please double-check that the app is actually frozen. Sometimes issue content can be rather large, and take a considerable time to download over slower internet connections. If you are positive that the app is frozen, please follow these steps to restart the app. 

  1. Exit the app by pressing your iPhone's home button once.
  2. From your home screen, now tap your iPhone's home button twice. A navigation strip with all your currently running apps should appear. 
  3. Find the app, flick it upwards to close it.
  4. Tap the home button, double-check your wi-fi strength, reopen the app, and attempt to unlock purchases again.

How do I download content to my device so that I can read it later?

You can download any content except videos. To add a piece of content to your Saved section, tap the star and it will fill in white, indicating that it has been saved to the device. You can save entire libraries of content or individual articles.

How do I remove an issue from my iPhone?

To remove an issue, navigate to the Saved view where you can see all of your saved content. Tap the checkmark on the content, and it will be removed from your device.
